With 20 years experience in the biz, I know the right questions to ask to help me gather all the information I need to design you a space that is a reflection of you while remaining efficient, creative, functional and beautiful.

Schematic Design

 I love this step. It’s when I introduce where I am thinking the design should go and getting your valuable feedback. We look at rough space plans and elevations, plenty of samples and images, and then make any changes necessary to get the design finalized.

DOCUMENTATION

Now that the design direction is finalized, I can provide the documents required to organize our ideas. This may include more detailed AutoCAD Space Plans, Cabinetry Plans, Lighting Plans, Elevations, Paint Schedules, Purchasing Lists, or Project Scopes to give to contractors to receive accurate bids.

Project Management and Installation

I manage your project by placing orders, following up with contractors and answering on site design questions throughout the construction process. I follow up on furniture orders and delivery / installation of the goods, and even place your art at just the perfect height, in the perfect spot. AGD has built relationships with numerous local contractors that can be recommended for your project.

Thinking Ahead

I want to become the person who knows your current design needs, but also where your home or business is headed, so smart choices can be made now and later when your life and design needs evolve. Let’s design a craft area now for the kids, that will grow to a homework area later. At the same time, I strive to educate my clients throughout the design process so that they are able to make purchases on their own and feel confident in their personal design style.
