This historic home built in 1875 was not lacking in character, but needed to be updated to reflect the style and lifestyle of this busy family of 5. The mansard style roof of this home is unique, but the slanted walls on the 3rd floor created issues with design. But by getting creative we designed a bathroom and den that worked around antique construction methods and the slanted walls. In both the living room and den, we worked in the clients antiques with a mixture of modern furnishings and art to transform the space while honoring its amazing history.
